Welcome to our Chapter

Welcome to the website of the Colonel John Mitchell Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), located in Anchorage, Alaska. We support the NSDAR objectives of historic preservation, education, and patriotism through our participation in naturalization ceremonies throughout the year, an awards ceremony in March with emphasis on local student achievements, support new active-duty mothers with newborn gift packages, and celebrating Constitution Day on September 17. Please enjoy your visit to these pages as you explore who we are, what we do, and our Patriot ancestors.

Unless otherwise noted, our chapter meetings are the second Thursday of each month from September through June. If you are interested in attending please contact our regent for more information.
